EDGE OPTIONS
Talk to your fabricator about your preference, and if it’s included with the bid or there will be an upcharge because of more labor involved.
The most common edges today are straight, for clean and modern, or pencil/radius for a slightly rounded look.
Love the composition of your stone? Consider a chiseled edge to show off its character even more.
Another option is the built-up or mitered edge. Most slabs are 3cm thick; these edges double the look of the overhang, usually to give an island or bar more presence.
