SELECTION TIPS
BOOKMATCHING
Bookmatching is when the factory finishes slabs to be a mirror image of each other. They polish the front of one and the back of the next.
(Bookmatched slabs typically have an arrow marked on their side.)
This is the detail that makes wall features amaze and waterfall islands flow. It also helps to minimize the look of seams in a long island or counter.
Use your fabricator’s expertise for several-slab projects.
They’ll let you know if bookmatched is best, if regular consecutive slabs are needed or if you have the flexibility to do non-consecutive slabs.
