FINISHES
When slabs are first finished at the factory, they’re polished (smooth and shiny).
Different finishes can be applied after that. Honed (smooth and matte), then
the textured finishes. Leathered, caressed and satin are terms you’ll see there.
Are leathered slabs as durable as polished? Yes, as long as they’re sealed properly. Slab texture can reduce glare and add a natural or rustic look. It’s a personal preference more than anything else.
We import a mix of finishes. Slabs can also be refinished before cutting.
