An Elegant Choice

With veining similar to marble, natural quartzite slabs are becoming an increasingly popular choice for kitchen and bath countertops, backsplashes, and feature walls. The crystalline sparkle and eye-catching patterns of quartzite come in an array of earthy colors perfect for complementing any design, making the stone a favored choice among builders, decorators, and homeowners.

Rich in Character

Quartzite is a naturally formed metamorphic rock, the result of pressure on quartz-rich sandstone deposits deep within the earth’s crust. It is mined from many countries worldwide, as well as locally across the U.S. from Utah, Arizona and California to Texas, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Luxurious

Each piece of quartzite is unique in character. Common colors include the swirling white and grey tones popular in today’s kitchen designs, as well as rarer varieties such as brown, gold, orange, red, green and blue, with variations dependent upon iron oxide content, region, and age of the stone.
